Trying to get to Content Server on OS X 10.7.2 using iPad 2 iOS 5.0.1

Have been searching the posts but haven't found one that seems to have the same conditions I'm dealing with. So here goes...

I am helping create a number of ePubs with Calibre and wanting to use the built in Content Server on the computer I'm creating them on, a Mac Mini (OS X 10.7.2). I am able to get other computers on our network to access the Content Server ePubs via IP but have had no luck with my iPad 2 (iOS 5.0.1) accessing wirelessly using Safari. I keep getting an error message "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding."

Am I missing something? Thanks in advance for any help!
