this has been a great thread...thanks for everyone's comments. i may try the "wider margins" at some point to see if affects my reading efficiency. i think it will be odd for me at first, but i can see why it might be more efficient for reading.

I love that the options are so easily changed. My vision fluctuates sometimes from day to day. Regardless of my need at the moment, I can find a setting that works. Sometimes it's a larger font, sometimes it more white space and more light. I don't set my device and forget it...I change the settings to meet my need at the moment.
A narrow column of text is very helpful when I'm reading with the device close to my eyes, but I don't read that way all the time. |
