Feature request: bookmarks
I quite often spot things when I'm doing a long series of edits that I want to come back and fix when I've finished what I'm doing. Most editors let you bookmark a line so you can go back to it later (with commands to mark/unmark a line, clear all, go to next/previous). Any chance of seeing this in Calibre?

Sorry, I've searched for this but can't find it anywhere... where should it be?

There is a Mark Text feature in the editor right-click options, I am unsure if it allows multiple locations marked, or if so, if it allows jumping to one after the other. |

Oh you mean in the editor, no there's no such facility.

And before you ask, I have no objections to implementing such a facility but it's not a priority. When I next work on the editor I will be working on autocomplete and/or the function mode for S&R
Patches are welcome |

Sorry, this doesn't help me. I haven't customised the toolbars so it shouldn't be a "lost feature" in the first place. In the editor I go to Prefs->Toolbars and I can choose which toolbar to customise. If I select e.g. "Book-wide actions" I see a list of "available actions", none of which is "mark book" or anything similar. Likewise for all the other possible toolbars. So if it isn't in any of the lists of available actions, where is it???

Oops, just caught up with the rest of the thread. OK, I was rightl it isn't an existing editor facility. And I'm sure there are higher-priority things to do. Wouldn't it be nice though? :-)
