New error message in ADE

I've tried to find the answer to this question on the forum so if this is the wrong spot could someone kindly direct me.
I have had this new problem downloading from the Library and also the last time that I purchased a book from Kobo.
I have downloaded lots of books and every thing goes well, but the last couple of times when downloading from the library and the last time purchasing from Kobo I have received this error message in ADE:

The Hammer of Eden:
Error converting license
Source file: The_Hammer_of_Eden_0001.epub
Failed to rename document
Source file: The_Hammer_of_Eden_1.epub
Output file: The_Hammer_of_Eden_0001.epub
--- end ---

What's interesting is that the book does end up in ADE, but it ends up there 3 times just like the error message and I am able to open one of them in Calibre and send it to my reader, but I'm wondering if anyone knows what this message is telling me and why it would have started recently, never having had this problem before.

What kind of operating system is your computer? Windows? Linux? I found a few links just from a google search on the error message that offer different suggestions. You might want to try to contact Adobe support.

Thank you. I did manage to find some links and tried yours too. I have no error message code number with mine. And what I found interesting is the book installs but it installs 2 or 3 times with a different extension on each one!
There is no library book available on my request list, for me to try right now, so I will have to see if some of the suggestions that were offered in the links work when I am able to download a book.

I meant to add that I have Windows Vista. And this problem only started a few weeks ago and I don't think anything has changed to make things behave differently. If the fix that some of the links offered don't work I will try Adobe, but I have heard that they aren't that helpful, unlike Mobileread forum people! ;-)
