Calibre 6 to 6.5 Metadata editor

Unfortunately, my English is not very good and I chased the text through a Translator, I should be forgiven.
I had already posted this thread in German but nobody was interested!!

I use 2 monitors and always have the metadata editor window open on the 2nd monitor.
Up to version 5.44 this was all fine.
From version 6 to the current 6.5, the window is always opened on the 1st monitor.
Since I have a visual impairment I use the screen magnifier and the editor window slides under it.
This means moving screen magnifier with each editor operation, moving editor windows, moving image scroll back, and then editing the metadata.
As I said, with every editor process!
Up to version 5.44 this was still different, the editor window was always opened where you had placed it.
Can anyone help me?

This will likely be some change in Qt 6. You didnt say what OS you are on.

W10, It now opens relative to where the Library is.
FWIW the I(nfo) pane opens where I left it

Yeah definitely a Qt issue in that case. The only difference between the two dialogs is that the for book info popup calibre only asks qt to restore the dialog's size not its position. I can change the edit metadata dialog to be the same, though am sure this will cause someone else to complain, as now the dialog will be positioned at the operating systems whims, but such is life.
