Converting into wrong size page?

I am mostly converting epub files into pdf (for ipad), however it converts the pages in weird square-like paper size. Each page isn't a regular page size. Now, the pages are stretched, distorted, and split into more pages. I don't know why...I didn't really change anything, it just started doing that...I attached photos because I can't explain it...

For example in the photos this book has 143 pages and it shows the right size in calibre ebook viewer (on the left) However, on the right of the screen, the book is shown in 465 pages after being converted to pdf. Notice that pages are stretched to square sized pages.

How can I fix this? Thanks!

Look under PDF Output in the conversion dialog.

Welcome to the forums.

Why would you want to convert to pdf to read on an iPad? My iPad2 is perfectly happy to read ePubs in iBooks and Bluefire, and I presume that later iPads can do that also.
