The Hope of Shridula by Kay Marshall Strom is 2nd in her Blessings of India inspirational historical drama series, with this volume set during the Indian independence movement in the late 1940s. This is free courtesy of Christian publisher Abingdon Press, who've repeatedly given us the 1st volume free (and it looks like you'll need to read that one first to understand this installment).
