Medard hatte mir da auch kurz zu geschrieben. Das soll nicht als Trostpreis für den Verlierer im Buchclub gedacht sein, sondern ganz unabhängig vom Buchclub.

Einfach ein allgemeines Thema erstellen (Buchclub Extra - Wer möchte mitlesen?), wo erstmal jeder anfragen kann.

"Ich hätte Lust ... zu lesen, will nicht jemand mitmachen?"

Wenn sich dann welche gefunden haben, können sie dann unter sich alles absprechen und starten dann ein öffentliches Thema zu dem Buch, wo sie diskutieren können und sich dann vielleicht noch weitere Mitschreiber finden.

Das hätten wir z.B. mit dem Ender machen können.

Das ganze ist eher für die Zukunft gedacht, jetzt hoffe ich, dass viele mitlesen, auch wenn das Buch sonst nicht so die erste Wahl gewesen wäre.

Ich hatte z.B. das Thema Mobileread-Bibliothek nicht gewählt.

Ich habe gestern aber mal etwas im Glauser gelesen und es gefällt mir.

Eigentlich wollte ich dazu nichts schreiben, bin aber jetzt doch etwas erstaunt über medards Reaktion (Löschung von Avatar und Freundesliste).

Auch im Germanistik-Seminar sind Trivialliteratur oder Comics immer mal wieder Thema. Es ist also möglich über viele Arten von Literatur zu diskutieren oder auch Seminararbeiten zu schreiben.

Ich weiß nicht so ganz, warum es hier nicht möglich sein soll. Ich empfinde medards Reaktion, Stichwort Schundroman in Bezug auf Glauser einfach unangebracht. Es ist kein literarischer Roman, damit stimmen wir hier sicher alle überein, aber thematisch lässt sich da vieles besprechen, auch rund um die Person Glauser.

Ich finde das eigentlich einen guten Einstieg, gerne können wir dann im nächsten Thema Literarische Klassiker etwas deutlich anspruchsvolleres besprechen.

Ich hatte den Buchclub aber insgesamt eher als einen Bereich verstanden, wo Bücher unterschiedlicher Art besprochen werden können und weniger als schön-geistliches Literatur- oder Philosophie-Seminar.

Auch im internationalen Bereich gibt es einen literarischen Book Club. Da könnte man doch auch anspruchsvollere oder philosophische Literatur besprechen, wenn ihr das wollt. Ihr müsstet das vorher nur entsprechend definieren. Jetzt aber im Nachhinein, nachdem man das Buch schon ausgewählt hat, die ganze Diskussion in Frage zu stellen, finde ich sehr bedauerlich.

So, das waren meine Gedanken dazu.

Ja, ich hatte den Buchclub auch genauso verstanden, sonst hätte ich den Glauser gar nicht erst vorgeschlagen. Schade, dass diejenigen, die unbedingt etwas Anspruchsvolleres wollten, nun anscheinend gar nicht mitlesen. Da kann man aber nichts machen. Ich finde es auf jeden Fall sehr schön, dass sich doch eine Gruppe Lesewilliger gefunden hat und werte das Projekt Buchclub als Erfolg.

Andererseits hat medard glaube ich generell die falsche Vorstellung davon wie MR funktioniert.
Es gibt zwar unter den Buchmachern einiges an künstlerischem Verständnis und auch Anspruch, aber insgesamt sind hier doch deulich mehr Leute vertreten die einfach gerne lesen und dies auf verschiedenen elektronischen Medien tun und sich darüber austauschen.
Beleidigt sein nur weil man seinen Willen nicht bekommt finde ich dann wiederum nicht besonders reif oder erwachsen

Ich finde dass wir lesen sollten, was die Mehrheit will, und bei unsere Gruppe bin ich überzeugt, dass wir dadurch viele sehr verschieden Werke lesen werden, und dass am Ende jeder von uns neue Autoren und Bücher dadurch entdecken wird. Die Definition von medard ist für die Tonne, wenn es nach ihm gehen würde hätten die meisten Literatur Nobelpreisträger den Preis eben nie gewonnen. Und Thomas Mann wäre der Superloser.

Ich denke er wollte sich schaumen lassen, aber im Endeffekt ist es nur schlechter Mousseux anstatt von Champagne geworden. Schwamm drüber (passt gerade gut dazu, oder ?) und lass uns einfach wie geplant weiter machen.

Mach Dich nicht verrückt deswegen. Die Mehrheit wird entscheiden, was wir demnächst lesen, und es ist gut so. Pseudoelitismus hat, finde ich, hier kein Platz.Und darüber hinaus ist matto regiert gut geschrieben.

Für August schlage ich schon mal "Lillifee und das kleine Einhorn" vor. Klingt so trivial, aber ist in der Realität ein Kunstwerk des Symbolismus, und auf jeder Seite steckt eine subliminale Nachricht. Plus es ist schön Rosabund

+1 dafür, Pseudoelitismus trifft genau das Gefühl was ich bei medard schon öfter mal hatte

Nö, dann schon lieber "Petterson und Findus"als Entwicklongsroman, das ist nicht so quietscherosa und es gibt auch noch sehr schöne Zeichnungen dazu

Lillifee und Peterson.... ich sehe ihr habt den nötigen Ernst für einen Buchclub.

Mir ging es auch etwas darum, dass es sehr wohl möglich ist einen weiteren alternativen Buchclub mit literarischen Anspruch zu betreiben, dazu müssten sich dann die entsprechenden Personen zusammenfinden.

Mit dem jetzigen Buchclub werden wir erstmal so weiter machen, das heißt die Mehrheit entscheidet, egal welcher Schund dabei rauskommt.

Mir macht das alles sehr viel Spaß, auch wenn wir nur in kleiner Runde lesen sollten.
