Smile Which software you use ?

Hi,

I wanted to know what software you use to make changes to files so they are perfect epub identical to the PDF files?

In the software you are able to make several changes regarding the layout as create columns of text, spacing, etc..

There's really no need to make an epub that's identical to a pdf. If the exact layout of the pdf is what's important to you, use the pdf.

The epub format is more fluid by design. I find Sigil to be a functional epub editor, but I don't know about layout options. It seems pretty complete, so if epub supports the layout options you want, it can probably be done in Sigil. But if you want a page to look exactly one way, then you probably don't want it in epub format to begin with.

ePub doesn't support multi-column text.

Or are you talking about converting a PDF into an epub? That's *very* hard to do with any reliability, since it's difficult to determine which information is content and which information (e.g. page numbers) is formatting. Calibre can do a realtively decent job of it, although as mentioned above you're not going to get two column text.
