Yeah, Version 1.1 fixed the bug with the Clock app. But everytime you open a PDF file with a reader (like GoodReader) for example, the warner bombards you with warnings. Version 1.1 fixed this with the iBooks PDF reader, so I don't know why the developer forgot about other PDF readers.

And 1.2 adds exceptions for a lot of reader apps (update specifically called out Stanza and a couple others but also mentioned generic reader apps).

For people with jailbroken phones who don't want to install Apple's new 4.0.2 update, Cydia now has their own patch for the PDF security hole, just install the package "PDF Patch". You won't need the PDF Warner anymore.

*That's pretty funny, exploit the security hole to jailbreak the phone, then patch it afterwards to protect yourself!

I think it’s outrageous that Apple simply leaves this serious bug unfixed on iOS3.1 devices!

I hope there will be a lawsuit about this! I really like Apple, but their iOS update policy stinks so far. On Mac OSX, they usually support the current and the previous version!
