Quote cutoff (first post!)

Hi there,

I aim to post more valuable things in this community, but first I need help with something! Searching didn't seem to turn up the problem I am having.

I am using the Kobo app on my iPad 2, and am a bit new to it all. The problem I have is that I can't seem to 'share' a whole quote. I can highlight the text and add my annotation, and then when I "share" this (via email to my work account) I only get the first line or so of the actual highlighted section (if it makes a difference, the particular novel is Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell).

Edit: here's a screenshot of the email (if it helps!)

Being an English teacher, it'd be absolutely fantastic if I could actually send and share quotes from these texts, rather than having to type them up myself.

One smaller 'problem' - is it possible to highlight across multiple pages? If a quote starts at the bottom of a page and continues overleaf, it's so far proving a bit of a hassle to highlight that section.

Thanks very much for any help or suggestions you can provide
