Smile Java applications on iLiad

iLiad supports java. Does this mean that a java application can run unchanged on the iLiad. I would very much like to run frustr8tor on my iLiad, but I don't know how.

The .jar is here:
http://www.frustr8tor.nl/frustr8tor.jar

Any advice for a newbie on Java?

Java app can run on iLiad only if:
1. It requires JDK <=1.4
2. It uses limited class (iLiad only provides PBP)

Any advice on how to find this out for a .jar?

*edit: it needs jdk 1.1,
now try to find out about pbp...

Why not tr it on iLiad? There are so many unknown reasons that hinder ported app to run on iLiad.
IMHO, this game is small and simple. The odd to run it on iLiad is good.

I already tried that (based on the way it is done by other java apps for the iLiad). But due to lack of knowledge about how to debug on the iLiad, I made no progress. The contentlister attempts to start the app but nothing happens.

I obscurely remember that Java app has to embed some erIPC api to be able to run on iLiad.
If that's true, you might have to decompile the jar, modify some code and recompile it.
Not so sure. It's been a year.

This gets too complicated and time consuming.

Thanks for the help!
