Using Calibre on Desktop and Notebook

I have a Nook Color and recently decided to try Calibre. I don't need it for books as all my ebooks are on the NC already. The news feature is awesome though. I've been paying for monthly subscriptions to a couple newspapers that I found out can be downloaded free with Calibre. Anyways, I downloaded Calibre to my "desktop" laptop to use with my NC. I'm wondering if it will work OK to download Calibre to my portable laptop to use while I'm traveling and still want to download the latest news to my NC. Would there be any issue with duplications or anything else doing this?
