Dark mode in linux

Comparing to windows, I notice that there are some differences in the Preference / Appearance tab
In windows the user interface style appears where I can choose default by the system or caliber style.
But in linux that option does not appear see first windows image, second linux image.
The question is: how could I activate the dark theme in linux.

Caliber version 4.8
Linux mint 19.3 with dark theme

set your system colors to dark and calibre willl use them automatically. Or set CALIBRE_USE_DARK_PALETTE=1 environment variable.
