calibre in a low graphics environment?
well, this may be a touch messy. Note to self, see how mobileread works in your normal browser! in any case, my name is Karen, and I am wondering if there is, or was, ever calibre for dos? thanks, Kare

Much appreciation for that link. Still, if the environment itself is far
from a low graphics one, I am unsure if those command line tools would be especially helpful. granted I am profoundly new to the family, but I am wondering if there is a process for developing an edition in say DOS? Which is itself still under development. |

Calibre uses the Qt framework to do a lot of the UI heavy lifting, I don't know if Qt can target a DOS (character mode) platform - I suspect not, but have a look for yourself ==>> https://www.qt.io/

Well, that is something to share with both the dos ain't
dead list, and the developers of freedos...although that is not the edition of DOS I run. Still, it does say all platforms so, there is a tiny light of hope. Kare Quote:
