I have a question about Calibre & Punctuation.
I was searching in Calibre's Search Bar for the author Elizabeth A Reeves and got no results. I knew that I had at least one of her books, so I searched the authors names myself and found Elizabeth A. Reeves. Is there a way to search the author's names and have any punctuation ignored?

When searching it can be a good idea to cut down the search term. Calibre will match against all the characters supplied, so omitting some can widen the search.

Yes, omit the initials in the search term, I would have used authors:"elizabeth reeves"

I'm guessing you used authors:"=Elizabeth A Reeves", the '=' signals you're looking for an exact match, its absence signals you're looking for a contains match.

If I wanted to be precise, I would have looked in the Tag browser for 'Elizabeth A. Reeves' in the Authors/R list.
