"used anchor page_i has multiple positions" error
Hey all! Trying to convert a KFX file to EPUB and get the error message "Used anchor page_i has multiple positions: 5503.221, 802.0." It won't convert, and I can't open to edit it until I convert it. Any ideas? I've never seen this one before.
Thank you! |

The conversion error is being produced by the KFX Input plugin. There is something in the book that you are trying to convert that the plugin is not handling correctly.
To diagnose and correct the problem I will need to know which book you are trying to convert and to see the conversion log. To access the log, either click on the "Jobs: 0" label in the lower right corner of the calibre window or use the Alt-Shift-J keyboard shortcut to activate the Jobs dialog. Select the failed conversion job from the list (the most recent will be first) and click the "Show job details" button. To copy the log to the clipboard under Windows, click within the log text then press Ctrl-A (select all) and Ctrl-C (copy). You can then paste it into a post. |

Do everyone a favour and wrap your error log in spoiler tags? The icon is between the YouTube and Maps icons so 3rd from the right end.

The conversion log shows that you are using version 1.4.0 of the KFX Input plugin. The problem you encountered was fixed in a subsequent plugin release.
Upgrading to the latest version of the KFX Input plugin (currently 1.8.0) should allow the book to convert. |

Available updates for installed PI, are shown (Indexed, and KFX is) as Plugin Available on the status bar (same place where Calibre update notice is)
If you have that hidden: (assumes PC has a network connection ) Preferences (right click):Get Plugins: set filter to update Available |
