I remember that this was on sale sometime late last year, and someone posted that they didn't like it, however tastes vary, and free means you can just try it and decide for yourself if you wish... Brian Garfield wrote a sequel, Death Sentence which was also adapted into a stand-alone movie starring Kevin Bacon. I liked it quite a bit.

I admit, I bought the book because it is set in my hometown of Long Beach, California. But I started reading it last night and quite like it so far. Here's a synopsis:
