Page Break Doesn't support iPad?
Guys,
I have used page break in the my ePub. It's not working in my iPad. Do you have any solution to fix this issue? It's working well in Adobe Digital Edition. e.g., style="page-break-before:always;" Many thanks Bala |

What program are you using to view this ePub?
And one solution is to split the flow into multiple flows that split where you want the page break to occur. |

But if you want that header to start on a new page without creating another flow, then the example given in the blog post won't always work. If the space left at the bottom of the preceding screen has enough room, then the header and first paragraph will fit and not be on a new screen. A page break causes what's after the break to be on the next screen regardless of what room is left on the proceeding screen. If iBooks does not support the page breaks, just split the XML into multiple flows as needed and you will have the effect of a page break.

So, there isn't solution for page breaks by using "page-break-before: always;"? Only way to have page break before every chapter is to have each chapter in different file, right?

It's better to be safe and use div's for those sorts of things, I don't like to style p tags it doesn't feel right.
Also there is an issue with microsoft rendering http://support.microsoft.com/kb/274554 --- stunjelly.com ebook formatting and repairs |
