Does Kindle 3 use up battery in sleep mode with 3G on?

Can't really tell since the battery is so good anyway, but is there a difference in sleep mode if 3G is on or off?

Yes, if your 3G is on, it'll use more battery than if your 3G is off.

The only time I have 3G on is when I'm buying something. Otherwise, I turn it off.

I agree I turn off 3G/Wifi when not using 3G/Wifi to conserve battery life.

I generally turn it off as well, but the few times I use it have had so little impact on the battery that I often leave it on if I know I will be doing some browsing.
