This. Would be awesome.

It's not laziness so much as a language barrier thing, methinks. I have been poring over this thread nonstop, dripping with excitement for nearly a week now, and I still managed to miss it somehow.

well, here's ktwombley's allmine-latest, along with the 1 change to build.prop specified by vldmr as being all that's necessary to fix keyboard/camera/track-thingy (attached!). I haven't tested it myself, sorry, but that 1 field (ro.product.device=edgejr) in build.prop inside the contained allmine.zip/system is the only single thing I have changed.

welcome to give it a try, it should apply fine over previous allmine updates, or as a replacement for allmine-latest.

if you already have the cyanogenmod 6 gapps installed (either from ermine 1.01/1.001/1.02) or from a previous allmine update attempt, you do not need gapps.zip when doing this. just this attached zip, renamed as update.zip

(ktwombley I hope this is cool with you, it's your work alone that has helped us - if not I'll gladly delete the post)

any luck you can edit the first post with most updated files? not for me, but majority of people are used only to look at first post.

WOuld this fix the problem?
Yep, it would fix your problem. This procedure will change your Library to match whatever serial number you put in there.

I forgot that I had moved my library to my sdcard. So the statement for me needed to replace /instorage with /sdcard, all other paths the same. Works for me now!

Now to fix my hibernate
Thanks for figuring that out, I'll add these instructions to the first post

thank you!

Thanks so much for posting the fix for marketplace....i was wondering when there would be a workaround for that. I installed both files (i already had Ermine on this), and it seemed to reboot ok.

I do have some minor issues (some have reported already):

1) touchpad is super sensitive and is basically useless.

2) I used to get YouTube ok with the YouTube app, now it hangs when loading videos (as do some Others).

3) rebooting takes forever

Those are the 3 major things that i detected so far but not super critical, but if there is a fix I would like to know it.
1. That'll be fixed by the build.prop edit everyone's talking about (and I'll put that in the first post soon)

2. Can you post a logcat of what's going down when this happens?

3. Sorry, I don't know if there's anything I can do about that.

Glad to hear it!

One thing, though! Once you get it set up on your PE, you can access it via the web without issue

logcat constantly overwrites because it keeps it in a loop. But it's a big loop.

The easiest way to save logcat is to install alogcat:

http://code.google.com/p/alogcat/dow...3.apk&can=2&q=

Start alogcat, then perform the action which causes the FC, then go back to aLogcat. Hit menu, share, gmail, and send it to: edgejr-bugs@bellybuttonporn.com

installed and runs perfectly

Many thanx to ktwombley, vldmr, tarvoke and all who contributed to this fix.
no observed anomalies, google voice only seems to support sms and voicemail
dunno if it's supposed to do more than that on the android platform, I assume not. In any case thanx again for some fine problem analysis and remedy.
