Sunny but super windy here with 30 to 35 mph winds. Most everything on the patio has been blown over, even my cast iron umbrella stands and their folded, tied up umbrellas.

Sunny and warm, but breezy.
Still ... I'll take it! |

-20C, -28C windchill. Did someone turn the Earth 180 degrees? Am I now in the Southern Hemisphere? And why didn't I get the memo?

Sun and warmth. We've got spring -- at least, for a couple days.

Partly cloudy but it's supposed to warm up to 14C today. We'll see. On Friday evening they said today was supposed to be 19C, then Saturday they changed it to 17C, then last night they changed it again to 14C. It's all a mystery. I'm looking at The Weather Channel now and it says it will be 15C today by 2pm.

And this morning, -18C, -23C windchill. Not to be a Dotty Downer but the forecast for this weekend says 10-15cm of snow on Saturday and 5-10cm of snow on Sunday. We set the record for annual snowfall about three weeks back and have had about 15cm since then already.
I'm having a hard time believing that my city hasn't been signed up for a localized ice age. |

Definitely not my problem here! It's wiltingly warm outside! Today should get to almost 90º F -- it's 87º now -- and sunny. Rain is due tonight, and tomorrow should be 25º cooler.
Weird. |

A couple of weeks ago it was winter. Today we broke records for heat. We had maybe one week of Spring.

Currently under a Winter Storm Watch. Expecting mixed precipitation tonight, snow tomorrow and freezing rain on Friday.
Even with all that I am still better off than anyone in Saskatchewan. Last edited by red_phoenix; 04-10-2013 at 06:25 PM. |
