Query on Magazine / Paper Subscriptions

I'm trying out subscriptions to the National Post and the Globe and Mail (and so far am preferring the Globe)...

Last night I had the Kobo plugged in to recharge, and in Reader mode (not Library mode). It would appear that the subscription update did not happen.

Is there any way to force the unit to do a sync now?

Yes, if you refresh your library it will update the paper. Do this on the Kobo itself wirelessly (might work if you do it thru the desktop, haven't tried that).
