duckduckgo search url

The url for search for duckduckgo (viewer>preferences>selection behavior) is incorrect. It returned an error. I have tried changing the format to match that found in my browser, but it still doesn't work, It now does go to duckduckgo, but searches the last part of the url.

I can't create a url that works.
Help?

Does the info on https://duckduckgo.com/params help?

There is no default entry for duck duck go. If you are seeing one there, it was put there by you, the default entry is: https://google.com/search?q={q}

not that i can figure out. if I add some letters/symbols, I get a search on those letters/symbols
Once i remove them i get the duckduckgo search page with no search performed.

I tried the search form used in my browser, but it doesn't work either. (it does work in the browser)

ok. any suggestion on entry that will work?
