What do all the added spans in a Kepub file do?
Turning an epub into kepub adds tons of span tags. All numbered per paragraph and even per sentence within that. They really just seem to be about numbering only. There is no css involved with the tags.
So what exactly is the purpose of it? |

So it's to provide a more detailed location to continue reading from. Makes a lot of sense actually. Thanks for the link!

Though annotation/highlight with location works fine with regular epubs as do bookmarks.
Use which ever you like the look of best. |
