21.02.2024. 22:00 - 75%
22.02.2024. 20:30 - 73% ( stuck while entering reading settings)
So, since I've finished charging the device late at night of 7th of February today would be 15 days since I've charged it, so the average battery drain for 24 hours of standby would be 1.8 - 1.92%.
Although that is somewhat "significantly" better than 3-4% I had with latest firmware prior to factory reset and firmware downgrade this is is still pathetic and disappointing when compared to my Kindle PW5. And using the Kindle while testing Kobo's standby (in)efficiency only served to remind me of that fact. Having to force reboot Kobo 2 times (because it stopped responding) while doing stuff like change light intensity or wanting to hide the header didn't help my mood.

From 9th to 14th of February Kobo discharged 10-11% of battery doing nothing while during that exact same time period on my Kindle PW5 I've read ~370 pages and that has discharged ~11% of Kindle's battery.

So? Obviously the PW5 has better battery life. If that is what you care about the most, why torture yourself with those experiments? Just sell your Libra and buy a new PW.

Personally I don't care. The Libra has good enough battery life for me. My Sage is a lot worse and I somehow still manage to read happily on it almost every day. But then battery life has never been a priority for me. As long as the battery lasts for a couple of days, I'm content.
