Cool PDF Conversions

HI Folks,
not sure how to start this forum stuff, I am new to this mode of communication.
I am trying to find out how to convert a PDF file /book from wikipedia scholar to mobi format for a Kindle using "Calibre". The program converts it OK except that it thinks many of the terms are links to wikipedia and underlines them and devides many terms in to multiple parts as well as actually making the hyperlinks.

Is there a way to stop this happenning.

Looking forward to any constructive suggestions that may help.

kindest regards Caliban

Welcome to Mobileread!

calibre creator, Kovid Goyal, is extremely responsive in the calibre forums, as are all the calibre developers! If you haven't already, visiting there would provide some assistance.

But be forewarned PDF is a terrible format to convert from see 'Read this before Posting PDF Questions' thread.

calibre itself can be found here. Along with the addition of the plugin 'Kindle Collections' designed by forum member meme, the creation of a storage system e.g. collections on kindles is spot on!
