I created an empty book. How do I later attach an ebook to that catalog entry?

I created an empty book (Ctrl-Shift-E on my linux). How do I later attach a pdf/epub/etc to that catalog entry?

Just open the entry in the Metadata editor (MDE) and drop it in the formats area
OR
the Details for that entry

thanks, i dropped it into the blank box. Hard to tell it's the format box, since it's empty. lol. but with your guidance, i had a feeling that the empty box is the formats box.

I assumed it was labeled
Formats are the only thing that appear there. Those 4 Icons (2 L, 2R) only apply to a Selected format. (all those Icons do have balloon help that say Selected Format)
