Hansel & Grethel and Other Tales by the Brothers Grimm
Translated from the German by Mrs. Edgar Lucas (1851-1935)
Illustrated by Arthur Rackham (1867–1939)

A collection of 30 tales taken from German folklore, immortalized by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm. These stories remain perennially popular, still enjoyed, two centuries after their first publication, by readers young and old. The stories presented in this volume have been charmingly illustrated by the incomparable Arthur Rackham, with 22 color plates, 30 line drawings, and a number of chapter decorations.

Companion volumes available:

Snowdrop and Other Tales

Little Brother & Little Sister and Other Tales
