any short cuts for highlighting?

I was wondering if there's a quicker way to highlight text in the Odyssey. With my Kindle, I'm used to just selecting text with my finger and then pressing 'highlight' in the menu that automatically appears. Now, in my Cybook, I'm first pressing the home button, then another three or four menu selections before I can highlight, and then this has to be repeated for each page.

Is there something I'm missing here?

I don't know in the Odyssey, but in Orizon:

1. Touch and hold at the beginning of the text you want to highlight, the screen changes to selection mode after 1-2 seconds.
2. Drag to the end of the selection, release.
3. Select highlight in the menu that appears.

Jellby's indications apparently do not work with the Odyssey.

To save one touch, I can just advise you to touch the upper right screen corner, which will trigger the Annotations (?, at least in French) menu.

But I agree the both behaviors described above would be nice!

Thanks, that short cut via the upper right hand corner helps significantly

I do hope they make it even simpler in a future software update, though.

Yes, I figured that... I really feel this e-reader is a mixed bag. There are things I really like about it, and then there are other things that are just a bit annoying
