I really don't have this file/folder.
I run "tree" command in Putty, and this is how output part for /share folder looks like: Code:
./usr/share: alsa terminfo ./usr/share/alsa: alsa.conf cards init pcm smixer.conf ... Last edited by Glosnik; 02-10-2013 at 09:40 AM. |

Sorry for waiting, I have to do it on other machine, not connected to internet.
Now with this Code:
ls -al /usr/share Now it works, I can acces files. I'll check rest of commands in a minute. Last edited by Glosnik; 02-10-2013 at 10:06 AM. |

I'm experiencing the same problem on second Kindle, this folder doesn't exists
I don't know what I did previously to create/show it, but the situation is the same, and Code:
ls -al /usr/share This Kindle is freshly after JB, JBPatch, JBKindlet. I had run webrowser, so maybe it would create webkit-1.0 folder, made reboot, but it's still not there. Any ideas? Last edited by Glosnik; 02-12-2013 at 05:46 AM. |

Hi mate.
Via what software? No, it is on the device from the start. Screenshot. find / -name '*'"search_bar.js"'*' Try that? |

I use MfgTool to put Kindle into diags mode, then turn on USBNetworking and connect via SSH in Putty. Windows XP SP3. In previous Kindle Touch 5.3.2 this folder was also invisible, until something happend. Last edited by Glosnik; 02-12-2013 at 08:07 AM. |

Wait. Diags mode.
Ah. That is the issue then. Try this WITHOUT being in diags mode. or I suppose you could mount the partition (that is currently not mounted) and search in that. Cheers |

Root filesystem is located on main parition. In diags mode main parition isn't mounted by default. Either mount it or connect to KT when it's in main (not diags) mode.

Is it possible to launch an active content book (.azw2) with this hack? I'm hoping to assign KUAL to the store button...
