Here is what I have learned about your chosen reader, and this is not a critisim in any way, plase take this as something that you can hopefully add to your fund of knowledge:
1) Tabs such as the Galaxy are all memory and have no hard drive what so ever, this is both good and bad. It makes things lighter and faster however the troubble is that you can not install extra software on the tab since most software needs a drive to run on. 2) tabs are best when you use them for web surfing and applications such as note taking. Don't expect to install Open Office or MS Office on it. 3) Tabs are very good at electronic books, however their dimensions make doing the job a tad on the ackward side. A pal of mine has delt with these problems by buyin an additional Nook to go with the tab, he has installed Barns and Nobles' software reader on the Galaxy and registered both on B&N to the same account. Now the one he uses really depends on what he will be doing, if he will be web surfing and reading he will select the galaxy if he will be only reading he selects the nook as the books are the same. |
