Kindle 2 Text Justification

I know on the Kindle 1 when you pressed the font size button a menu would pop up displaying font sizes one through six. While this menu was displayed you could press 'J' and a sub-menu would come up allowing you to select either 'Full Justification' or 'Left Justified'. Does anyone know if the Kindle 2 does the same thing? I see no mention of this in the users guide or anywhere else.

I wasn't mentioned in the Kindle 1 user guide either. So it might still available, but I don't know for sure. See Hacking the Kindle part 3: root shell and runtime system for the source of this shortcut. I hope Igor is getting a Kindle 2.

I believe that it is Alt-J, not just J. Also, not all books seem to work with the justification option on K1. It was an undocumented thing, so who knows if it will work on K2? Until someone gets one and tries all the old tricks from K1, we won't know.

Some Mobipocket/Kindle ebooks have the justification hard-coded into them and thus immune to the reading software setting.
