Boox M92 shows only blank pages for calibre generated pdf after about page 45

Has anyone else seen this? I've tried setting the option to 'use old pdf reader', but that doesn't change anything.

The documents I'm trying to read are converted from mobi documents (from amazon) with a lot of pictures. But one is about 8 MB converted and the other more than 25 MB, and both show the same behaviour (only blanks after about 45 pages), so I don't think it has anything to do with size.

edit: I reformatted for my iLiad and (on my iLiad BE) both documents work correctly, i.e. I can see all the pages up to the end of the document. So it does seem to be something wrong with the (software on) the Boox M92...

Any ideas?

Argh... Sorry, should have done a search with my own title. I tried searching and found nothing, but apparantly I used the wrong search terms, as now I see a few threads with my problem exactly suggested below my own thread...

So, going through those now... Hope there's a solution.
