Calibre server and password on an iPad
I set up port forwarding on my router so I can access the Calibre server from outside my home network. It has been working fine of some time now.
I recently set a username/password on the Calibre server to keep port sniffers at bay. Here's my problem: After the initial username/password entry, I can access Calibre from my iMac and three Mac laptops over the internet and Safari logs me in via keychain. However, an iPad Air and two iPad minis constantly request authentication and won't save the info. I have keychain set to "on" for all three iPads but that doesn't help. I also tried it from someone else's iPad and their iPad saved the login info. What am I doing wrong? Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks. |
