If this is the version which the BBC made at the end of last year, it is indeed excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

Just looked at the web site, and it is the BBC version. Excellent, and very faithful to the book (which you can, of course, download from MR if you want to "read along" with the TV series).

Lost is sooooooo good this year! I don't have a clue what's going on at that island this week or 30 yrs ago or maybe in some timeless space between life and death where John and Ben are working out some managerial issues.

I never got past the second episode of Lost. It kept putting me to sleep.

Better Off Ted, on the other hand, is the best new show other than Burn Notice that I've seen in ages!

I love Burn Notice also. Ahhhh, to look like Fiona and be a super spy in a tropical city like Miami..... ahhhh..... sigh....

I think I watched 4 or 5 episodes the first season before it had that effect on me.

You should watch Kings. It's well written as well as being surprisingly subtle. At the very least watch the pilot on Hulu.
