is there a tool to open (read) books from the calibre's content server?

The title says it all, client or server side it would be useful, in particular for those books you just consult now and then and you do not just «read».

It wouldn't be bad at all if Calibre would implement this natively in the future. Am I good to go proposing a new feature here?

Thank you.

There are various plugins for browsers that should do what you want. A quick Google search showed Lucifox extension for Firefox as a possible source to do as you asked. I'm sure there are others. Depending on the url you put in you can get different interfaces from the content server, to use this extension you would have to access the /opds url.

You can ask here, but there is a procedure for requesting a new feature to calibre via the Bug tracking software.

Thank you. Tried it, and I was able to read the epub even from the web content server interface. But I use Chrome, I will try to see if anything similar exists. Thanks again.
