E Ink Calibration

Hello, I can not find a solution for this anywhere.

I go to settings then display, and try to run the E-ink screen calibration utility.

I click it and nothing happens. Has anyone experienced this? How did you fix this so that you can runt eh calibration?

Well I answered my own question. The calibration utility will only work if you have the Eink setup so that it is on the left side in front of you. I had my configuration set for Eink on the right side. Now it works. So hopefully this helped someone else.

This is really odd behavior. We just tested what you said and were able to calibrate the e-ink side in "lefty" mode. What is your software version? If you try again in "lefty" mode does it still not work?

Ok, I did it again and the same result no calibration utility when eink on the right. So I removed the battery waited a few minutes, ut it back in. restarted the tablet. THis time I go to try the calibration when Eink on right, and the utility works. So, I have no clue why. I'm current with the software.

Out of curiousity, how often do people find the eInk side needs to be recalibrated? Has anyone had any issues requiring frequent recalibration? I ask because I feel as though opening certain files (or even just time... maybe over the span of a few days) seems to cause the eInk screen to respond differently than it should (sometimes the line I draw appears 1+mm away from the stylus). Just curious if anyone else had experienced this or if it was normal.

Rarely. I do it after a software update.

Same here. And I recalibrated the eInk side after switching it to the left side mode. Which all worked without any problem.
