How long can I edit a post?

I wanted to change something in my very first post, but, alas, there's no edit button there. On my last post before this one there was an edit button right after posting.
I haven't found an answer to it in the posting guideline and the forum search for edit button gives me an endless list with obviously no connection to my question.
How long can I make changes to my posts?

I'm unaware of any time limit. A quick search located a post I made in 2010 and the edit button was still there. If you provide a link to the post in question, maybe a moderator could take a look. Alternatively, sign in via a different browser and see if the issue continues to occur in the alternate browser.

10 posts is at or below the anti spam restriction. A few more posts and that should go away.
