Resize image in post

I would like to resize the image display in a post. With html-code I could do:

<img style="width:50%;"> </img>

Can I do this with the forum markup language?

Forums usually forbid HTML in posts for security reasons, and [ img ] BBcode tags don't allow resizing. You'll probably have to resize the image yourself and then attach the smaller version.

You can attach the image without resizing as a thumbnail with “manage attachments” in the posting options. Either paste the URL of the image or upload it from your computer.

@issybird I know.

I use the upload manager to get a hyperlink, that I can use in my post.
However, it seems that I'll have to use a oneliner to convert a file to different resolutions.
