My Life on eBay

Each wasted moment
of every dying day,
I feel my life increasingly revolving
around eBay auction deadlines

And, like life,
I never win
anything

Yet

I still put more and more
items to watch
in my Watch to Buy List

and keep checking back
and keep refreshing the page

and keep refreshing the page

and keep refreshing the page

and keep refreshing the page
to see the auction time approaching One Minute Remaining
which is when
I place my first bid
as long as
the expected bid
is low enough for me
to afford

And
as long as
the number of bidders
is small enough
for me
to possibly win

I plan my daily activities around
eBay auction closing times
although I am in debt

I think
the economy and my wallet
and my sex life
are all still "fucked"
