Editing Post
I'm trying to edit a post of mine to update a plugin (the specific post I'm trying to edit is https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...87&postcount=1) and I can pull up the inline editor, but when I click Edit from the single-post view or Go Advanced from the inline editor I get a generic error page saying that the action can't be done at this time. What's up?

There's a limit on the number of posts that the system will allow you to edit in a given time period. Had you recently edited other posts? If this happens again, wait an hour or so and it should let you edit the post again.

Yea, I'd edited a bunch. I didn't think I'd run into that though, since I could edit other posts immediately after seeing that error. I think I edited 3 posts in total and created a new thread, I think 2 posts and the thread came before seeing this error.

I run into the same problem when editing two of my threads. It's a royal pain in the neck.

It seems the limit is editing 3 posts, but how long do I have to wait until I can edit posts again? This is making it really hard to update a bunch of related calibre plugins.

I wish it would also update thread titles and tags when editing (https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=255238 is no longer Kobo H2O only).

I don't know why They decided not to allow renaming thread titles (it's possible, I've seen other vBulletin fora that allow it), but you can always report the post to a moderator and have them change it...
