That says the SERVER hung up on you. Maybe you are using the wrong password or encryption?
If this is Amazon, you need to go to Manage my Content and Devices and set up the Approved Personal Document E-mail List

You are trying to send email directly you need to setup a mail relay such as GMX or hotmail, see faq email

I'm getting a similar result, failing to send email. I'm using a gmx account and have smtp enabled in their security settings. I also have added an exception for calibre & calibre_parallel in my antivirus and firewall.

Given the STARTTLS line, have you enabled TLS in the setting for your email server in calibre? I have TLS selected in the encryption and seems to be working just fine. I've attached an screencap of the setup I am using.

I have a bit different error message but problem is same: CANNOT send email from CALIBRE for some time (in the past it worked fine).
All I get when trying to use "TEST-EMAIL button" is this error message.
(It seems probably as well something in PYTHON, I was not able to find any solution in any other forum):

If you using gmx mail, you need to login on at their site (every six months, I think) or they cut the Calibre altempts.

I am having similar "Email to Kindle" issues with Calibre (v4.2), and am not sure what to do. Tried to check everything I have found on similar threads, but have not been having any success.

Details and Confirmations:

File type of books was MOBI (two different books used in tests, both actual books).
Kindle address was confirmed, and when I tried to send a file attached to an email from my GMail account, it worked fine. Same initial issue with another Kindle address (my mother's).
The GMX address was created for this, and I enabled the option "Enable access to this account via POP3 and IMAP" in their settings. In Calibre's options, I used the default Hostname (mail.gmx.com), with TLS encryption and port 587. Username (including gmx bit at end) and password were checked, and a test email to some other email addresses works fine.
Used my current GMail address next (after approximately infinite errors). I set up Calibre as an allowed app at security.gmail.com, and got an app-specific password. In Calibre's options, I used the Hostname (smtp.gmx.com), with TLS encryption and port 587. Username (including gmail bit at end) and password were checked, and a test email to some other email addresses works fine.

My apologies for any incorrect terminology, as this is all fairly unfamiliar to me. Any suggestions or help on what to do next would be greatly appreciated - I am not sure what else to do (or what I have done wrong).

Thank you for any help (and thank you even if no help - the answers on previous threads are very good, and I appreciate all the time and effort you guys spend on helping people).

That log looks like something is killing the connection to the email server while the email is being sent. Typical suspects are antivirus/firewall and similar security programs.

Not sure why the email isn't working. It appears to work but nothing shows up on my kindle. All email address are valid and same case. Test of GMX email was successful. All firewalls and AV are turned off or removed. The following is the results of the send:
