You are trying to send email directly you need to setup a mail relay such as GMX or hotmail, see faq email

I'm getting a similar result, failing to send email. I'm using a gmx account and have smtp enabled in their security settings. I also have added an exception for calibre & calibre_parallel in my antivirus and firewall.

I have a bit different error message but problem is same: CANNOT send email from CALIBRE for some time (in the past it worked fine).
All I get when trying to use "TEST-EMAIL button" is this error message. If you using gmx mail, you need to login on at their site (every six months, I think) or they cut the Calibre altempts.

Calibre Email to Kindle Issue
I am having similar "Email to Kindle" issues with Calibre (v4.2), and am not sure what to do. Tried to check everything I have found on similar threads, but have not been having any success.

That log looks like something is killing the connection to the email server while the email is being sent. Typical suspects are antivirus/firewall and similar security programs.

Not sure why the email isn't working. It appears to work but nothing shows up on my kindle. All email address are valid and same case. Test of GMX email was successful. All firewalls and AV are turned off or removed. The following is the results of the send:
