Thanks. I just recently read the pbook, along with a collection of other Kafka stories. One of his other stories, In the Penal Colony, is truly horrifying and sadly also not so different from current times.

Nameless Being

One of the great stories of all time. Gabriel García Márquez reportedly said that on reading the first line of this story he was astounded that anyone could write something like that and that it inspired him to become a write. I'm just finishing reading Gabriel García Márquez : A Life by Gerald Martin, won in a raffle at my local library. First hardcover book I've read in a while.
