Question Question about changing library storage

So I have a question as I am not able to figure out how to do this on my own.

On my hard drive my library files are being saved in the library folder as
{author}/{book} ({number})/{book}-{author}.{file format}

I would like to have the files saved as
{author}/{book}-{author}.{file format}

I went into preferences, saving books to disk. It seemed that the save template is what I needed to change. I did so, restarted Calibre.

However nothing has changed in how the files are changed in the hard drive.

What am I missing or did I change it in the wrong section.

Thank you for any help you can offer.

Blessed Be

Phillip

@Freewolf You need to read this Library Management sticky thread ==> Want to change the folder structure of the Calibre library?

Calibre's library directories / file names are not user configurable.

The Saving Books to Disk template is for setting the directory / file name of books when exporting books from the library to a separate location.
