Problem with Mandriva 2009.0

Hello

I've been using Calibre with Mandriva 2008.1 without problems but today I have upgraded the distro to version 2009.0 and after installing the last version of Calibre using the universal binary, now it fails to run. When launch from the command, I got the following error

I suppose I'm missing something, but I don't a have a clue of what it is.

That error message indicates a problem with fontconfig

Try re-installing fontconfig and freetype

I don't know how to reinstall those packages. If I try to remove then first there are a lot of dependecies I haven't seen a way to forece the reinstallment.

ask on the madriva forums as I'm not familiar with its package management system

Well, I'm not pretty sure how, but now Calibre works OK. I've installed some of the KDE3 libraries for other applications and now it works. Don't know why but it works, so I'm happy again
