Peter and the Starcatchers

Specifically the audiobook. We're going on a 9+ hour each way family road trip next month -- my mom, my husband, our three kids (ages 8, 5, and 3) and me -- and I was looking for something we could all listen to on the way. My 8 year old has the paper book and has read some of it -- he said it was pretty good but he never finished it.

I'm mostly wondering if there is anything in it that would be too much for a 3 year old boy or 5 year old girl?

Now that I've written this all down, I realize I can just take my son's copy and figure it out for myself. However, if it's any good, it may be more fun to discover it with the family, so I'm going to leave my original question. If it's one of those "it depends" type book, I'll go ahead and read it myself.

Any opinions of the Audible version would be welcome as well.

Thanks!
