Hi from Tokyo
Hi, I'm a long-term New Zealand resident of Japan, a keen reader of both English and Japanese literature, and a big Kindle fan (although I'd be sad to see books completely disappear).
I work two jobs: translation, and administration (with colleagues) of the websites JapanVisitor.com (a guide site) and GoodsFromJapan.com (sales). Favorite writers? Began with JRR Tolkien as a kid, and now, to name a few, James Baldwin, Vladimir Nabokov, Henry James, Daphne du Maurier, Ryunosuke Akutagawa, Natsuki Ikezawa, William Shakespeare, Sylvia Plath ... Looking forward to making new friends and acquaintances here. |
