indexing for epub
I am trying to convert a book that has an index the author wants linked to the text. How do I establish these links to pages that no longer exist? Is there a way to link the words in the index to content within a now single chapter? Would this be hyperlinking or bookmarking? Help appreciated.

The latest 0.5.906 Sigil beta version has an index editor that you could use to create a hyperlinked index.

Have a look at Jutoh it has a free version to try before you buy and is imho far more powerful than Sigil and will do exactly what you want.
