Nielson, William & Thorndike, Ashley: The Facts About Shakespeare v1.0 2007-08-10

THE FACTS ABOUT
SHAKESPEARE

BY
WILLIAM ALLAN NEILSON, Ph.D.

PROFESSOR OF ENGLISH IN HARVARD UNIVERSITY

AND
ASHLEY HORACE THORNDIKE, Ph.D., L.H.D.

PROFESSOR OF ENGLISH IN COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY

I don't know anything about this book really. All I know is it's some book about Shakespeare that recently showed up on Project Gutenberg. The formatting is in three columns and there are footnotes and an index and stuff. Rather then spend months trying to sort this out in Book Designer, I just gave it a go with html2lrf and as they say, It's as good as she gets. I hope those who are downloading the Shakespeare that Patricia is doing will enjoy this one as well. Or at least have a look and see how it came out. It's not bad really. Html2lrf is a pretty darn good program.

P.S. This book does have illustrations and photos

Thanks, Jon. This looks interesting.
To be fair, I had a relatively straightforward job with the Shakespeare poems. Friendly must have had a much more challenging time with the plays.

Basically, if it wasn't for html2lrf, this would never have been converted. There is no way Book Designer could have handled it well enough. Yes the page numbers do break up some of the lines, but if you can get past that and you like the material, then it should be a good read.
